Thirty-something (although not for much longer).
Currently, I am the Executive Director of the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities, an independent, nonprofit affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Our mission is to inspire and support intellectual curiosity and imagination in all Rhode Islanders. We do this by funding, supporting and advocating for the humanities in the public life of our state.
In my non-work life (is there such a thing?), I make overly grand attempts to garden, to write poetry and fiction, and to engage with the organizations and people that have brought beauty, texture, and meaning to my life.
Thank you for visiting.
